& Pride Festival at Preston Park
Saturday August 4th 10:00 am to 8:00 pm
The Lawns Café, on Hove Prom
opposite Adelaide Crescent
(in the middle of Hove Lawns)
Join the Brighton Kenric Walking Group marching in the Brighton Pride Parade. The overall theme this year is ‘Colour My World’ celebrating the 40th anniversary of the rainbow flag’s original eight colours of pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet representing, respectively: sexuality, life, healing, sun, nature, art, harmony, and spirit. The eight colours also vividly represent the diversity of our community. The Rainbow Flag reminds us that ours is a diverse community – composed of people with a variety of individual tastes of which we should all be proud.
After the parade, some of us will be going on to the Pride Festival in Preston Park. We’ll have a limited number of special community group tickets for those who have marched with our group in the parade. Please message Lynda or Sylvie through Meetup for more details.

Newbies: we’re a very friendly group and you’ll be most welcome. We’ll post a contact number nearer the time.
