Intrigued or baffled by tweets, hashtags, follows and likes? Need help with feeling safe online? This social media class is for you!

Led by Lorraine (Dilly Dartin) – who looks after the Kenric Twitter and Instagram feeds – these individual, one-to-one SkillShare sessions are designed for those who want to get started on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, or build on existing knowledge. Beginners, improvers and technophobes all welcome.

Format: one-to-one coaching, with 1-hour slots per person. Owing to the limited time available, we will focus on just one social media channel (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) per person.

There are four time slots available, starting at 10:00, 11:15, 12:30, and 13:45.

After signing up via Meetup, please send a message to Lorraine to specify which time slot you prefer. It would be helpful if you can give a first and second choice. Please include your phone number so that the exact location at the Royal Festival Hall can be provided on the day.

Skill level: suitable for all.

What to bring: if you already have any social media accounts, please bring the login details with you for the account you want to focus on. If you want to use your own laptop/tablet, please bring it. We can also work on your smartphone. If you don’t have a smartphone and can’t bring a laptop/tablet, there will be a laptop provided to work on.

Spaces are limited. Other social media sessions will follow.

Refreshments: not provided. Please buy from the Southbank outlets if you’d like to.
