Led by Lorraine, these one-to-one sessions are designed for those who want help with email, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Meetup, smartphone/tablet set-ups, or learning how to stay safe online.
Format: one-to-one sessions, 75 minutes per person. Owing to the limited time available, we will focus on just one topic (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Meetup, email, basic set-up of phone/tablet, web security) per person.
There are three slots available: 10:30 am, 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm.
To book: email Lorraine at email@example.com, remembering to include your preferred time slot and a contact number. Once a time slot has been agreed via email, please transfer the appropriate funds (see cost below) into the Kenric bank account:
Bookings are not confirmed until a time slot has been agreed and payment has been received.
Cost: For coaching relating to personal use of social media/email etc.
£5 for Kenric card-holders, and £8 for non-members.
For advice on business usage: £15 for Kenric card-holders, and £20 for non-members.
(100% of fees collected go to Kenric)
Where to meet: in the café. Please include a phone number when emailing your booking request, and Lorraine will call you before your time slot to let you know where to meet.
Skill level: suitable for everyone!
What to bring: if you already have any email or social media accounts, please bring the login details with you for the account you want to focus on.
Please also bring the pass codes for any device that you want to work on. If you don’t have a smartphone and can’t bring a laptop/tablet, there will be a device provided to work on. Please also bring a notepad and pen!
Spaces are limited to three. Other sessions will follow so if you can’t make this, look out for future dates.
Refreshments: not provided, but coffee, tea, soft drinks and food are available to purchase from the cafe.
Please Note: Before requesting a booking, please consider if you are able to commit to attending. Payment must be made in advance at the time of booking. Sorry, we can’t give refunds, but bookings may be transferred to another date. Bookings may also be transferred to another person provided that the person making the original booking is responsible for all arrangements to do with the transfer.
